Gabe Ruffolo

I started doing hair in 1961, then few years later I joined by brother Dick in owning Ruffolo’s Hair Studio. We started as a two chair hair studio and over the years it grew to have over twenty-four stylists and receptionists. In 1974 I was named Wisconsin Barber of the Year, and elected in Wisconsin Barer and Hairstylist Assoc. From 1979 to 1983 I was president of the Barber Association. My brother and I sold Ruffolo’s Hair Studio to a long time employee, Stacy Romanovic, a few years ago. Knowing that she would be an excellent owner, she would continue and grow the hair studio to one of the finest in Wisconsin. I still enjoy taking care of my long time guests and watching the stylists achieve their goals.
